ABSTRACT:
Substantially anhydrous glassy phosphate detergent additives are disclosed comprising from 1% to 90% by weight of a glassy phosphate and 10% to 99% by weight of a protective agent being a solid organic material having a melting point ranging from 110.degree. F to 200.degree. F. Preferably the solid organic material has a low hygroscopicity in order to minimize exposure of the glassy phosphate to moisture during storage.
