ABSTRACT:
The present invention relates to a process for producing a crystalline synthetic faujasite of the zeolite "Y" type of a predetermined particle size wherein an activated system is provided by mixing a sodium silicate solution with a seed amount of zeolite "Y" type synthetic faujasite and the activated system is reacted with a sodium aluminate solution under controlled conditions to thereby form a low water reaction mixture or system and then a crystalline synthetic faujasite of the zeolite "Y" type of the predetermined particle size.
