ABSTRACT:
A printed film includes a substrate film with a surface polymeric layer that includes a thermoplastic polymer having a melting point of no more than about 130.degree. C. and, on a surface of the film, a printed image in the form of a polymeric film. The substrate film can be printed without chemically and/or oxidatively priming the surface to be printed and exhibits superior retention of the image after undergoing heat treatment.
