ABSTRACT:
An image reading apparatus having a partition module between an image sensor module and a heat source (e.g., a laser-beam printer) includes a partition module disposed between the image sensor module and the heat source. The partition module has two walls with a gap therebetween for thermally insulating the image reading module from the heat source. Preferably, the partition module has an air intake port, and an air exhaust port, and an fan for circulating cooling air.
