ABSTRACT:
A method for improving lactation in lactating ruminants such as cattle or goats is disclosed. Said method utilizes the antibiotic Teichomycin A.sub.2 or its physiologically acceptable salts, esters and amides. Also disclosed are animal feed compositions containing said antibiotic.
