ABSTRACT:
A coating composition having improved heat resistance is disclosed. The coating composition comprises a ligand-free monomer/maleic anhydride polymer, and an effective amount of a metal ion-containing fugitive ligand complex to solubilize the polymer in an aqueous medium.
