ABSTRACT:
The invention relates to a flaky extender pigment formed by adsorbing a titanium oxide hydrate having a mean grain size of from 0.1 to 0.5 .mu.m on the surface of a flaky substrate and then further coating a titanium oxide hydrate having a mean grain size of less than 0.1 .mu.m.
