ABSTRACT:
An improved jack is disclosed for modular telephone interconnection. One or more shorting components are plugably mounted in a wall of the jack to common electrically selected beam contacts which are mounted in a base portion of the jack which protrude outwardly for plugable electrical connection in a circuit board. The contacts are stamped and formed from metal strip and then stripe plated with gold along the areas to be engaged by a plug type connector intermated with the jack.
