ABSTRACT:
A dowel-type pin for connecting structural components, particularly for connecting furniture plates, is in a mounted position held over a portion of its length in a receiving opening of at least one of the plates to be connected. The pin is divided in longitudinal direction and has at least two partial pins which are displaceable relative to each other in longitudinal direction and rest against each other in the mounted position. At least one of the partial pins has an inclined abutment surface which ascends in longitudinal direction for a counter abutment surface of the respectively other partial pin.
