ABSTRACT:
There is described a process for preparing reactive phthalocyanine dyes with .beta.-substituted ethylsulfonyl or vinylsulfonyl groups by reacting a phthalocyaninesulfonyl chloride with amines with .beta.-substituted ethylsulfonyl or vinylsulfonyl groups with or without further amines in the presence of a heterocyclic catalyst.
