ABSTRACT:
A friction clutch with a mechanism to automatically adjust for the wear of the friction linings by an adjustable-width device. The adjustable-width device includes at least one adjustment element. The adjustment element is centered with respect to the axis of rotation opposite the pressure plate by several guide pins distributed about the circumference of the pressure plate. The guide pins extend axially and support the width of the adjustable element.
