ABSTRACT:
An inverter for powering a lamp at deep dim levels. Inverter driving circuitry includes a feedback loop which compares desired dim level to signal representing actual lamp power consumption. Reproducibility of desired lighting conditions for different types of lamps powered by the same ballast over a wide range of temperatures is also provided.
