ABSTRACT:
A method of combating corrosion of a metal which comprises contacting such metal with a composition containing polyamino acids, their salts and their anhydrides, together with at least one corrosion inhibitor selected from the group consisting of benzotriazole, 4-C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkylbenzotriazoles and 5-C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkylbenzotriazoles.
