ABSTRACT:
A liquid electrolyte for use in an electrolytic capacitor is disclosed, wherein a mixture of .gamma.-butyrolactone and acetonitrile is used as a solvent system, said mixed solvent containing as a solute at least one member selected from among monocarboxylic and dicarboxylic acid salts of tetraalkylammonium.
