ABSTRACT:
An adhesive composition for surgical use including an .alpha.-cyanoacrylate adhesive composition with a polymer characteristic for biodegrading and bioabsorbing the adhesive into the body of a living organism. It is preferred that the polymer is a co-polymer of DL-lactic acid and .epsilon.-caprolactone or a co-polymer of DL-lactic acid, ethylene glycol and .epsilon.-caprolactone, or a co-polymer of ethylene glycol and .epsilon.-caprolactone.
