ABSTRACT:
A heat-sensitive transfer material comprising a support having provided thereon a coloring material layer containing a dye represented by formula (I): ##STR1## wherein Q.sup.1 represents an atomic group containing at least one nitrogen atom required to form a nitrogen-containing heterocyclic ring containing 5 or more members together with the carbon atoms to which Q.sup.1 is bonded;
