ABSTRACT:
4a-Arylhexahydro-1H-2-pyrindines and 4a-aryloctahydroquinolines analgesic agonists and antagonists are prepared doubly alkylating a 4-aryltetrahydropyridine with an .alpha.,.omega.-dihaloalkane.
