This invention is directed to pelletted catalyst compositions supported on group IVb transition metal oxides that contain phosphorous derived from phosphoryl chloride or phosphorous bromide and their use in the production of predominantly linear polyethylenepolyamines from ethylenediamine and monoethanolamine.
