ABSTRACT:
A membrane of a vinyl polymer which contains groups of the formula ##STR1## where R.sup.1, R.sup.2, R.sup.3 and R.sup.4 are each hydrogen, methyl, methoxy, fluorine or trifluoromethyl and R.sup.5 is --CH.sub.2 --CH.sub.2 -- or ##STR2## covalently bonded to the polymer chain, and the use of the said membrane.
