ABSTRACT:
The invention provides fungicidal compositions comprising as an active ingredient a compound having the general formula (I): ##STR1## or a stereoisomer thereof, wherein X is a methylene group and Y is an oxygen atom, or X is an oxygen atom and Y is a methylene or CHOH group; R.sup.1 and R.sup.2, which may be the same or different, are hydrogen or halogen atoms, or alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl, alkoxy, haloalkyl, or haloalkoxy groups; R.sup.3 and R.sup.4, which may be the same or different, are alkyl groups containing from 1 to 8 carbon atoms, or --NR.sup.3 R.sup.4 is a 5- or 6-membered heterocyclic ring, optionally substituted by alkyl, aryl, aralkyl, hydroxy, alkoxy or aryloxy groups; or an acid addition salt of such a compound.
