ABSTRACT:
An aqueous belt lubricant composition comprising water and from 1.0 to 10 wt % of at least a fatty alkyl propylene tetramine, from 1.0 to 10 wt % of at least a fatty alcohol polygylcol ether, all percentages are based on the total weight of the aqueous belt lubricant composition, and at least one acid in an amount sufficient to establish a pH value between about 5.0 and about 7.0. The composition may further comprising one or more of alkoxylated fatty alkyl monoamines, alkoxylated fatty alkyl diamines and/or a solutizer.
