ABSTRACT:
A silver halide photographic material comprising at least one compound represented by the following formula (I) or formula (II): ##STR1## wherein R.sub.11, R.sub.12, R.sub.21 and R.sub.22 each represents a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group; R.sub.13 and R.sub.23 each represents a hydrogen atom, a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group or a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group; V.sub.1, V.sub.2, V.sub.3, V.sub.4, V.sub.5, V.sub.6, V.sub.7, V.sub.8, V.sub.9, V.sub.10, V.sub.11, V.sub.4A, V.sub.5A, V.sub.6A, W.sub.01 and W.sub.02 each represents a hydrogen atom or a substituent, wherein at least one of V.sub.7 and V.sub.11 is a substituent; W.sub.21 represents a substituent having two or more carbon atoms; X.sub.1 and X.sub.2 each represents a charge-neutralizing counter ion; and m and n each represents a number of 0 or more necessary for neutralizing the molecular charge.
