ABSTRACT:
Anilines which contain fluorine in a side chain are prepared by reacting chlorinated aromatic compounds with ammonia in the presence of a catalyst and optionally water at 200 to 280.degree. C. Some of the trifluoromethoxyanilines which may be prepared in this way are new compounds.
