ABSTRACT:
The present invention provides an improved magnetic recording medium comprising a non-magnetic support with at least one magnetic layer comprising a magnetizable pigment dispersed in a binder composition. The binder composition of the present invention comprises a block copolymer, having a hard segment, with a glass transition temperature (T.sub.g) of greater than about 70.degree. C., and a soft segment, having a T.sub.g of less than about -30.degree. C. The binder composition of the present invention has relatively stable physical properties over a range of temperatures, preferably at least 50.degree. C. at more preferably at least 100.degree. C.
