ABSTRACT:
The present invention concerns benzothiophene acyl (2) derivatives of the formula, ##SPC1##
Wherein R.sub.1, R.sub.2 and R are substituents and n is an integer 1 or 2.
The compounds are useful as u.v. stabilizers for, e.g. plastic materials.
