ABSTRACT:
New esters of .alpha.-aminopenicillins having the formula ##EQU1## wherein R is C.sub.2 -C.sub.7 alkyl; WHEREIN R.sup.2 = H or OH, R.sup.3 = H or halogen; ##SPC1##
Wherein R.sup.1 is ##EQU2## or --Ch.sub.2 NHCOO--R.sup.4 wherein R.sup.4 = C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkyl; R.sup.5 = H, CH.sub.3 or C.sub.2 H.sub.5, useful as active ingredients of pharmaceutical preparation; processes for their preparation; chemical intermediates useful in said preparation; and methods for the treatment of infectious diseases.
