ABSTRACT:
A color photographic element contains a compound of the following formula: ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 each represent hydrogen atom, or an alkyl or aryl group; Ar.sub.1 and Ar.sub.2 each represent an aryl group; and n and m each represent 1 or 2. The color element containing the above compound displays excellent sensitivity, gradation, and color-developability even when developing it with a color developer not substantially containing any benzyl alcohol.
