ABSTRACT:
A terpolymer whose backbone chain is composed of the following building units is described: ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1, R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 each is H or an alkyl group selected from among CH.sub.3 and C.sub.2 H.sub.5.
Further, a polyelectrolyte made either of a terpolymer or of a derivative thereof is also described.
