ABSTRACT:
A silicone rubber composition which comprises an organopolysiloxane, a finely divided silica filler, and optionally an organosilicon compound having at least one .tbd.SiH bond in the molecule is described. When an organic peroxide of the following general formula ##STR1## wherein n is an integer of from 2 to 8, and R.sup.2 and R.sup.3 are independently a monovalent hydrocarbon group having from 3 to 10 carbon atoms or a group of the formula, Si(R.sup.4).sub.3, wherein R.sup.4 represents a group selected from a methyl group, an ethyl group and a phenyl group, is added, surface tackiness and physical properties are remarkably improved.
