ABSTRACT:
The slew rate of an electronic operational amplifier is maximized by inserting additional capacitance calculated according to the equation. ##EQU1## The capacitance may be connected across the amplifier current source to provide additional transient current flowing through the input differential pair and thus increase slew rate without affecting the amplifier's stability.
