Copper complex formazan compounds which have fiber-reactive properties and are very highly suitable for use as dyes for dyeing carboxamido-containing and/or hydroxy-containing material, such as fiber material, for example wool and cellulose fiber materials, have the general formula (1) ##STR1## where A is a benzene or naphthylene ring which may be substituted by substituents customary in dyes, such as halogen, nitro, alkyl and alkoxy,
