ABSTRACT:
A chlorine-containing resin is prevented from degradation due to heat and light by addition of a novolac type epoxy compound of the formula, ##STR1## wherein R is hydrogen or C.sub.1 - C.sub.4 alkyl, and n is a number of 5 to 15.
