ABSTRACT:
A method for oxidatively degrading organophosphorous esters to phosphoric id, carbon dioxide and water through the use of a source of free hydroxy radicals, saturation of the resulting solution with oxygen and subsequent irradiation with UV radiation between 220 and 280 nm.
