ABSTRACT:
Ethylbenzene is recovered from a mixture of C.sub.8 aromatic hydrocarbons including xylenes by adsorptive separation in a narrow temperature range using a cesium exchanged X zeolite as the adsorbent. A mixture of diethylbenzene and toluene is the preferred desorbent.
