ABSTRACT:
A color diffusion photographic film unit comprising (a) a light sensitive element comprising at least one photosensitive silver halide emulsion layer associated with a redox compound adapted to release a diffusible dye, (b) an image receiving element, and (c) an alkaline processing composition element, wherein a 1-m-alkyl-substituted phenyl-3-pyrazolidinone electron transfer agent of the following general formula (I) or a precursor thereof is incorporated in at least one of said elements (a) through (c) ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 is methyl or ethyl and R.sub.2 is hydrogen or a group cleavable under alkaline conditions is disclosed.
