ABSTRACT:
In a device for the treatment of the edge zones of plate-shaped elements, a conveyor (3) for the plate-shaped element and a treatment tool (17) movable to and fro transversely to the conveying direction are provided. In opposition to the treatment tool (17), on upright bracing roll (15), rotatable about an axis extending transversely to the conveying direction, is provided for te plate-shaped element. The conveyor (3) comprises a carrier unit (8) for the plate-shaped element, which carrier unit can be moved together with the conveyor selectively in synchronism.
