ABSTRACT:
The present invention relates to a photosensitive member containing a specific styryl compound for a charge transporting material, which is improved in photographic properties such as photosensitivity and repeating properties. The styryl compound represented by the following formula [X]; ##STR1## in which R.sub.11, R.sub.12, R.sub.16 and R.sub.17 represent independently an alkyl group, an aralkyl group or an aryl group, each of which may have a substituent; R.sub.13, R.sub.15 and R.sub.18 represent independently a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an alkoxy group or a halogen atom; R.sub.14 and R.sub.19 represent independently an alkyl group or an alkoxy group; l or n is an integer of 1, 2 or 3; m is an integer of 0, 1 or 2, is particularly excellent in the improvement of the sensitivity.
