ABSTRACT:
An electrical resistance heater comprises a planar structure having a plurality of elements arranged in parallel side-by-side relationship. Each element comprises a casing containing a resistance heating wire which is embedded in a matrix of a material of good thermal conductivity. The casing has an upwardly radiating surface provided with a series of convolutions of which the re-entrant portions communicate with openings extending through the heater.
