ABSTRACT:
A machine for winding tape body insulation on the pole coils of electric machines includes, according to the invention, a frame made of two parts, one of which is rigidly fixed on a foundation, and the other is movable relative to the stationary part by means of an overhang. The overhang is hinged on a support fixed to the stationary part of the frame, whereon an electric drive is also located. The drive is kinematically interconnected with the shaft of a driving gear that drives a device for winding tape insulation on the pole coils, the device being mounted on the frame and carrying the insulating tape. The winding device is made in the form of two toothed half-rings detachable from each other and mounted on the stationary and movable parts of the frame, respectively. The machine of the present invention has the capability of winding coils with several tapes, both dry and adhesive, simultaneously and it also allows the placing and removal of pole coils to be mechanized. This results in a substantially improved quality of the insulation applied to the pole coils of electric machines.
