ABSTRACT:
A pyridotriazolium compound of the formula: ##STR1## wherein R is a hydrogen atom, a C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkoxy group, a C.sub.3 -C.sub.4 alkynyloxy group, a C.sub.3 -C.sub.4 alkenyloxy group or a C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkylthio group and X is a chlorine atom or a bromine atom, which is useful as a herbicide.
