ABSTRACT:
The present invention provides a powdery cosmetic which is excellent in spreadability and adhesion, free from standing-out of powder after application to the skin, free from a dry and loose sensation and has characteristics necessary for powdery cosmetic.
The powdery cosmetic of the present invention comprises a porous spherical cellulose powder incorporated therein in an amount of 0.1 to 50% by weight based on the whole amount of the powdery cosmetic. The porous spherical cellulose powder has an average particle diameter of at least 3 .mu.m and coated, impregnated, or chemically linked with at least one high molecular substance retentive of moisture.
