ABSTRACT:
A high zoom ratio zoom lens for a compact camera is disclosed which comprises in order from the object side, a first lens group having a positive focal length, a second lens group having a positive focal length, and a third lens group having a negative focal length. When zooming is carried out from a wide angle side to a telephoto side, the first, second and third lens group are all moved toward the object side so that a distance between the first and second lens groups is increased and a distance between the second and third lens groups is decreased.
