ABSTRACT:
The present invention provides a process for the determination of .alpha.-amylase by cleavage of a substrate in the presence of one or more auxiliary enzymes and measurement of a cleavage product, wherein the reaction is carried out in the presence of monoclonal antibodies against .alpha.-amylase.
The present invention also provides a reagent for the determination of .alpha.-amylase containing a substrate, one or more auxiliary enzymes and a system for the measurement of a cleavage product, wherein it also contains at least one monoclonal antibody against .alpha.-amylase.
