ABSTRACT:
An insulative coating composition for electrical steels containing Al.sup.+++, Mg.sup.++, H.sub.2 PO.sub.4.sup.- and aluminum silicate in specified proportions, in the form of a stable aqueous suspension which provides a tension-imparting coating having good curing characteristics and which imparts improved magnetic properties to electrical steels.
