ABSTRACT:
A process to produce oriented, crystalline polyaniline films using simultaneous heat treatment and stressing of polyaniline films. Films stressed while being held at elevated temperatures (T.gtoreq.110.degree. C.), showed anisotropic x-ray, IR and visible optical response.
