ABSTRACT:
Thiazolinone-(2)-carboxylic acid esters having the formula: ##STR1## ARE PREPARED BY REACTING A .beta.-AMINO ACRYLIC ACID ESTER WITH CHLOROCARBOXYL SULPHENYL CHLORIDE (COCl-SCl) at a temperature of from 0.degree. to 200.degree. C. The esters are useful as plant protecting agents such as a fungicide.
