ABSTRACT:
Improvement in heat-treatment of a superconducting thin film of thallium type compound oxide deposited on a substrate by PVD or CVD. In the invention, the heat-treatment is effected at a temperature between 880.degree. C. and 920.degree. C. for a predetermined time duration under such a condition that the partial pressure of thallium oxide becomes higher than the saturated vapour pressure of thallium oxide at said temperature.
