ABSTRACT:
Novel halogen-substituted N-(3-trifluoromethyl-4-halogenoalkoxyphenyl)-N'-benzoylureas of the formula ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 is a C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkyl group which is substituted at least twice by fluorine, chlorine or bromine, R.sub.2 is fluorine or chlorine, and R.sub.3 is hydrogen, fluorine or chlorine; processes for producing these compounds, as well as compositions containing them, for use in combating pests, particularly for combating insects which infest plants and animals. The novel compounds are especially effective against larval stages of insects which damage plants by eating.
