ABSTRACT:
An electroluminescence device which includes an organic light-emitting layer and optionally one or more further layers disposed between a pair of electrodes, wherein at least one of the layers contains a silanamine compound which has the formula (I), ##STR1## wherein each of Ar.sup.1 and Ar.sup.3 is an optionally substituted aryl group and Ar.sup.2 is an optionally substituted arylene group.
