Anticorrosive agent stable to hard water, which comprises an alkali metal salt, alkaline earth metal salt, or amine salt of a compound of the formula ##STR1## in which R.sub.1 is branched C.sub.6 -C.sub.13 -alkyl or C.sub.5 - or C.sub.6 -cycloalkyl, or polycycloalkyl having from 6 to 13 carbon atoms optionally substituted by 1 or 2 C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkyl groups,
